Ajaccio walking tour

We will start with a relaxing walk on the main quay towards the Genoese fortress, one of our stops will be at the Cathedral of Ajaccio. Then we will retrace the steps of Letizia, who went into labour during the service of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and had to walk all the way to the house of the Buonaparte family to give birth to baby Napoleon. We will admire together different monuments dedicated to Napoleon and other members of the family. We will stroll down the colourful Rue Fesch and talk about the local products which you can of course try at the local market. We'll end the tour in the lovely garden of the Fesch Museum, under the scented shade of jasmine. From here you can continue, on your own, with a visit to the museum or you can return to Rue Fesch for a well earned shopping session.
