Brussels is a city with over 1,000 years of history. Its historic center is home to a remarkable concentration of beautiful buildings from many different eras. Today, Brussels is a vibrant and dynamic capital with a truly international population and a rich cultural and social life. I’m a native Belgian and longtime Brussels resident, fluent in the local languages. For the past 15 years, I’ve been guiding visitors through the heart of the city, tailoring my tours to suit a wide range of audiences—young and old, local and international. I also work as a guide in several of the city’s museums. If you join me on this tour, Brussels will reveal all its secrets to you—and more! We’ll explore as many highlights as possible, including the Grand Place, the Galeries Royales, the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, the Royal Palace, and more. And of course... there will be chocolate! After all, it’s scientifically proven to boost your mood—so why not indulge?
Meeting point: in front of Café Cirio (Rue de la Bourse 18), next to the historic Stock Exchange (Bourse). I look forward to hearing from you and showing you the best of Brussels!

The city centre is best visited on foot. The programme can of course be adapted to suit your possibilities, include more breaks etc. Making use of public transport or taxi's is not recommended as it changes the possible sights quite a bit, but it's possible too.
