Jews and Oslo. . . Do they have anything in common? As it turns out, yes, and quite a lot! You are invited to a guided tour of Oslo's Jewish history conducted by a member of Oslo's Jewish community. The route takes you through the central street of Oslo, where once there were numerous Jewish stores and monuments that are in some way part of the Jewish history of Norway. The uniqueness of the tour is that the center of Oslo has never been a "Jewish". However, here as nowhere else in the city, walking down just one street you can learn the whole history of this minority in Norway. As an extension of the tour, it is possible to visit the synagogue and the Jewish Museum. Keep in mind that both places are not always open to the public.
- Jernbanetorget - Karl Johan street - Oslo Cathedral - Egertorget - Parliament - Grand hotel - Royal Palace - Synagogue (visits may not always be possible) ** For customizing this tour, please inquire for a quote.
