Leaving Killarney we climb the hill at Aghadoe to view the deep blue glacial lakes, with the green tree covered mountains behind before we head west through lush green farmland where cattle and sheep graze peacefully. Driving through Killorglin town you will hear a story of its 400 year old fair. Further along the landscape changes as we get our first sight of the rugged Atlantic coastline.
