You've likely heard about the underground city but are unsure whether it's worth a visit. With a guide, you'll be able to visit some of the interesting parts, learn about its importance, all without getting lost in the maze of tunnels. You'll emerge into daylight once in a while, whether it's to admire the beautiful churches or to go through what may feel like a portal to Paris. Marvel at a piece of the Berlin wall, explore the bustling Central station, and check out the mall underneath a cathedral. To ensure you capture the essence of the city from a panoramic perspective, we will take a short ride (round-trip) on the brand new elevated light rail from Central station, taking in the sights over the skyscrapers, the canal, and of course the majestic St-Laurent river.
After we meet, we will cover the following spots during the tour: - Square Victoria and the Parisian metro entrance - World Commerce Centre's piece of Berlin Wall - A short ride on the metro (1 station) - Bonaventure metro station and its interesting ceiling - Montreal's tallest tower, with its skating rink - Central station - A short ride on the REM (light rail) for the view - Square Dorchester or Place Ville-Marie (optional) - Busy Ste-Catherine street - Eaton Centre and McGill metro station - A cathedral and its basement. . . a shopping centre? * This itinerary can be customized to suit your needs and preferences. Do not hesitate to contact me.

This is a walking tour. I suggest wearing comfortable shoes, and bringing a rain jacket or an umbrella if the weather is bad. We will experience the Montreal metro, as well as the brand-new REM light rail.
Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Ideally near McGill or Bonaventure metro stations, otherwise anywhere between Peel, Sherbrooke, St-Alexandre, and St-Jacques streets. Suggested meeting location: Hotel Bonaventure lobby, directly connected to the metro
