Out and About in St. John's

It's the oldest city in North America, with a colorful history and rich culture. Here you can find the old traditions of Newfoundland everywhere you turn, often right alongside the best in cutting edge design and world class cuisine. There's much to see and do here. Would you like to explore the quaint and picturesque Quidi Vidi Village, nestled in the middle of St. John's for over 400 years ? How about a drive out to Cape Spear to see the lighthouses and the most easterly point in North America? A jaunt up Signal Hill is an absolute must since it has it all: scenic vistas, geological wonders, a history of great battles and transatlantic firsts, and many other delights. Maybe we can travel around the downtown to see the magnificent churches, our fantastic museum and historic sites, do a little shopping for local crafts, or grab some lunch at one of the local pubs or a hot new restaurant.
