If you want to receive an simple introduction to Venice and want to discover the city later by yourself in total tranquillity, this tour is for you, you'll see the higlights of Venice and some quieter calli. I've carefully chosen the stops on this tour to give you a real insight into the city. You'll start in the sestiere of San Polo, you'll cross the Rialto bridge, you'll walk through Cannaregio and Castello districts, to end in Piazza San Marco: you'll discover quiet streets, pass peaceful canals and go beyond the areas that visitors usually see. It will be a only two hour tour, a brief and yet effective introduction to Venice. At the end of the walk I may accompany you to have an unforgettable gondola ride which will give you a different perspective of Venice, from its canals. . .

You'll walk in the "corte" where Marco Polo grew up. - Campo Santa Maria Formosa. Enjoy history in this characteristic, wide and beautiful campo. - Piazza San Marco and its monumental buildings.
